Lingham Lake

Lingham Lake, situated in Eastern Ontario near Tweed, is renowned among off-road enthusiasts for its rugged and challenging trails. Accessing the lake requires navigating through demanding terrains, making it a destination best suited for well-equipped vehicles and experienced drivers. Branching north from the hydro line, this road leads directly to Lingham Lake. However, it’s known for being extremely rough, with large rocks, deep ruts, and water-filled potholes. Trail conditions can vary based on weather. After rainfall, trails can become muddy and waterlogged, increasing the difficulty. Some areas may have deep water crossings and mud pits, such as the notorious “Johnson’s Hole,” which can be deceptive in depth .
